Digital Hive Mind, a Rockford-based advertising and creative agency, is proud to share that Multimedia Designer Bradley Maytez has earned his FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107), enabling the agency to officially offer aerial photography and videography services to clients.

The certification allows Digital Hive Mind to safely and legally operate drones for commercial use, opening the door to high-quality aerial visuals for marketing campaigns, brand videos, social media content, industrial showcases, real estate, and event coverage.

Adding aerial capabilities gives us another powerful tool for visual storytelling. Brad’s certification ensures we’re delivering this service responsibly, professionally, and in full compliance with FAA regulations.

Jason Farris, Co-Founder and Creative Director , Digital Hive Mind

The FAA Part 107 certification requires pilots to demonstrate knowledge of airspace regulations, safety procedures, weather considerations, and operational best practices for unmanned aircraft systems. With this credential, Digital Hive Mind can now integrate drone footage seamlessly into its creative offerings, providing clients with dynamic perspectives that enhance visual impact and engagement.

Bradley serves as a Multimedia Designer at Digital Hive Mind, where he produces video, design, and motion-based content across accounts. His certification reflects the agency’s ongoing investment in expanding its technical capabilities and delivering innovative solutions for clients’ brands.

Digital Hive Mind’s new aerial services are available immediately and can be incorporated into existing or upcoming creative projects.
