Digital Hive Mind was hired by Doc’s Enterprises to redesign their Sports Journal for the 2020 football season. The comprehensive redesign of the book included transitioning from a combined weekly schedule format to a team schedule layout for both the NCAA and NFL football leagues. The 150+ page book also includes historical angles, statistics, odds, trends, and exclusive handicapping information and articles. The journal is known throughout the industry as the most complete full season football schedule available and the go-to handicapping tool for close to a quarter million football fans each year.

Of the six years we’ve produced the Sports Journal for Doc’s, 2020 was certainly the most challenging. As the press date neared, it seemed schedule information was changing almost daily in response to the Covid-19 situation, especially for the NCAA teams. And when the deadline arrived to get the book printed in advance of the NFL season kick-off, the NCAA season was still up in the air, so the client elected to focus solely on the NFL for 2020. With so many data points changing so frequently, putting together this year’s book was an exhaustive exercise in intense attention to detail and careful proofing.
