Digital Hive Mind, a Rockford-based advertising and creative agency, sponsored and launched a new website for FLYT Robotics Team 2290, a Rockford-based competitive youth robotics team dedicated to inspiring the next generation of engineers, programmers, and innovators.
Prior to partnering with DHM, FLYT Robotics did not have a dedicated website. The team needed a central hub where students, parents, sponsors, and community members could learn about the organization and opportunities to get involved.
Working from FLYT Robotics’ established brand standards—including logos, colors, icons, and existing content—DHM designed and developed a site that not only highlights the team’s robots, student members, mentors, and sponsors, but also eases the experience for prospective sponsors and new members looking to connect with the organization. The website also serves as a recruitment and fundraising tool, providing clear pathways for supporters to contribute to the team’s continued growth and success.
A key objective of the project was long-term ownership. The site was built with ease of management in mind, allowing student team members to take an active role in updating content, sharing team achievements, and maintaining the website after launch.
By giving students direct control over their digital presence, the platform becomes more than a marketing tool—it becomes an extension of the team’s learning experience, providing hands-on exposure to website management, content creation, and digital communication.
The new FLYT Robotics website is now live at www.flyt2290.com.
FLYT came to us with a strong vision for how they wanted to present their team and accomplishments. Our goal was to turn that vision into a flexible platform that not only showcases their work today but can continue to grow with them in the future.
